Become a Voluntary Promoter

Presenting professional performances where you live

We depend on our passionate team of volunteer promoters in order for the professional performances we offer to make it into your community.

Whether you are a regular promoter, just starting out or want to find out more, this section aims to give you all the information you need.

Promoting, in the sense we are using here, means all the activities involved in putting on a professional performance in your local village venue and encouraging your community to come along and attend the event. This makes a difference in a number of ways including providing:

- people the opportunity to experience high-quality art on their doorstep, without having to travel

- a great choice of different arts events to give the whole local community a great night out

- a social gathering, that brings people together who might otherwise meet each other

- the chance to see a show up close and personal, something that is rare in conventional, larger theatre venues

- a safe and friendly place to meet and at the same time give a little back to the community

As a volunteer promoter you will provide a fantastic opportunity for smaller scale professinal companies and artists to be able to tour their work to your neighbourhood. By volunteering with NTA you will join a network of promoters that are powering live arts performances in villages across Northamptonshire.
