Tongues Of Fire

Tongues of Fire are a riot of reeds, brass and percussion making a ‘joyful noise’ for dreaming, dancing and celebration. Featuring reeds, brass and percussion, the band are inspired by traditions of village and town bands both in England and around the world, and play a rich blend of traditional and modern sounds.

Their ‘village band’ line up draws on traditions of rural music and brings these traditions up to date in new and evocative arrangements, together with sounds from New Orleans, the Balkans and beyond.
